As per tele-conversation
Her: How come you don't like fishcakes?
Me: I don't think fish and cakes should go together. (followed by a laugh at what I thought was a clever joke)
Her: Why not? You eat crabsticks, don't you?
Me: ..
Now, how do you answer that? I hate it when I lose at things like this.

Review night
Last night after work, I dropped by Laundry to catch the launching of Seven Collar T-Shirt's latest album, The Great Battle. It was an ear-tingling, mind-blowing show with sounds that swings beautifully from mellow to distortion almost perfectly. I sincerely wished they had played more than the 5 song set. SCTS' latest release is possibly their more complete album, consistently hitting some of the highs reached in their previous album, Drones. While slightly more elaborate, their trademark sound is still there. Quality of the album is top-notch. Props to the sleeve designer(s) for the creative artwork and much thanks to the good guys from Laguna for getting the boys to sign my CD. Ngehe.
Oh, and I slept wonderfully last night :)
postscript: Duan's voice, I'm telling you, like can pengsan on the spot.

Shows
Word on the street is that Chan Marshall will be performing at the Esplanade in SG come January. I did some googling on this and the only reliable source I found was from Junkonline. However, I couldn't find a poster anywhere but then again, it's only November so maybe the good guys are still working on it. Is this true? Oh please tell me it's true.
LEPASTU, I also got to know that Andrew friggin' Bird is making an appeareance 2 weeks after at the same venue! Why are all the good ones heading down to Singapore and not KL?!!
On another note, +/- will be playing at Home Club next month -__-
Sigh, nothing exciting is ever happening here.

Dance Tonight
To the TGME boys, you guys did great yesterday! This one is in the bag, fo' sho!
I didn't go anywhere for Halloween despite all the planning. Had a nice quiet night with the boyfriend. His sister's wedding at KGPA was truly beautiful and the food was yummeh! Instead of heading to Werner's with his brother and girlfriend, we left for home early.
I made him listen to the After Party CD by DJ's Cza and Ash I got from Rootz last Friday. Yeah, you guessed it. 37 RnB tracks was played back to back. A new record by yours truly thankyouverymuch. I have to say it isn't bad at all but probably won't happen ever again. Anyway, blah blah the boyfriend didn't complain, not even a word. We actually danced to one song which was quite funny cos we don't roll that way.
Did you know that "Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo." is a grammatically correct sentence? Well, now you do.

Therapy has taught me that it's all your fault
My home is approximately 10kms from the office and it takes me about half an hour to get to work every morning and 20 minutes to reach home from work at 8pm every night so I spend almost an hour on driving alone not including the occasional runs I have to make in-between. To top it off, I spend RM7 on tolls 5 days a week and I'm pumping RM70 worth of fuel like a motherdooder every week. I stress, every week!
Nope, not complaining. Not at all.
Anyway, what is up with blokes in scrotum-hugging denim? O_0 I saw 3 full-grown men looking like their crotch is about to burst today. Skinnies are fine, trendy la kot but maaaaaaaaaaan, pants that are 2 sizes too small is gross la, Joe. Really.

Hantu sorok Touch N' Go di Penchala Link
Hey folks, apologies for the brief hiatus. I have been well apart from the occasional dry-coughing here and there to compliment the crazy weather we have here.
Work is work. It's tiring and sometimes stressful but it beats bumming around so no complaints there.
On a lighter note, my dad turns 50 today. He calls it the day of his 'Rebirth'. Y'know, like the Too Phat album.. *cricket chirps* No? Nevermind. We went out for a nice family dinner and mom got him cuppies this year for a change. I thought they were really cute. This was made by my cousin, Kak Yati who bakes yummy gorgeous looking little cakes.
Anyway, back to my title story. Penchala Link is haunted. I repeat, Penchala Link is HAUN-TED. Ridicule me if you must but this wasn't funny when it happened. A few days back, I thought I had lost the card since I couldn't find it anywhere in my car after various attempts looking for it. Cutting a long story short, my Touch N' Go card mysteriously disappears at Penchala Tol one day and magically reappers at Penchala Tol the next, as if it was never moved from where I initially placed it. What are the odds, man? Apasal tak muncul kat Kerinchi ke, Sunway ke? I tell you there got orang bunian suka play play with your head no joke.
Bunian 1: Eh, bapak budak ni baru reload TnG dia. Dah la dia takde duit nak bayar tol. Jom susahkan hidup dia.
Bunian 2: Ok. Bergerak sekarang!
Moral of the story is: Invest on Smart Tag and stick it to your windshield so orang bunian cannot steal.
